According to the Government order Arogya Bhadratha Scheme for police personnel, the police staff and their dependants, children and parents are entitled to undergo dental treatment with cashless facility free of cost. As per the scheme, every employee of Police Department has to pay a monthly subscription, which will be deducted from their pay and can undergo any kind of dental treatment at accredited Private referral Dental Hospitals (Recognised by Government of Andhra Pradeshand Telangana or the Director of Medical Education) in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The Director of General Police of both the states Anurag Sharma and Ramudu says in a press meet that there are around one lakh seventy thousand Police Personnels who can avail the Arogya Bhadrata Scheme for treatment of their dental problems.
